The chocolate is made at Artisana HQ in central Ludlow, Shropshire.
All crafted by hand.
Some of the chocolate is ‘conched’ from bean to bar and the remaining is crafted from carefully sourced high quality couverture chocolate.
The chocolate is tempered by hand... it’s a time consuming process but very rewarding!
Sustainability
We take great care when sourcing our ingredients ensuring that we are not only selecting the best quality but it’s sourced in the most sustainable way.
We use packaging which can be recycled wherever possible.
Our story
"I have always had a passion for chocolate but not any old chocolate. A long standing fanatical ‘Chocoholic’! I'm so passionate about cocoa and have been focusing on developing my own recipes less sweet which really accentuates the taste.
My inspiration comes from chocolate tasting all over the world. I have been lucky to travel extensively and always found myself in a chocolate shop with the exception of Dubai where it was all about the dates!"

Chocolate is moody, it knows how you feel when you pick up the ladle, happy, sad, angry, emotional and you get a different result every time... great psychology!
Something for everyone, faces light up when they see our chocolate. After all, we eat with our eyes so the look is as important as the taste, you can’t have one without the other.

Our taste philosophy
We wanted to created a range of chocolate which embodies mood and occasion..
from the fun of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the elegance of The Ritz.
Ladies especially have a very personal relationship with their chocolate, it's right up there with shoes and handbags!
For the men, experience shows it’s a simple case of the more the better, sweet with a strong flavour and abundant!
